The capacity building workshop was organized by Indian Sugar & Bio-Energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA) to strengthen the preparedness of India’s sugar industry for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production through targeted capacity building, knowledge sharing on ICAO-CORSIA standards, and engagement with global certification agencies. By enabling technical readiness across the value chain, the workshop lays the foundation for India to emerge as a leading supplier of low-carbon, sugarcane-based SAF.
